Dug
addiction has become a great nuisance in Bangladesh. A large number of
people especially the young generation are addicted to drugs including
Morphine, Heroin, Cocain Marijuana, Yaba etc.
At
present drug addicts are found everywhere in the street, in the parks and even
in the educational institutions. The number of drug addicts is on the rise.
Drug addiction destroys the addicts morally, physically and financially. The
addicts can not lead a normal life. When the addicts do not get money to buy
drugs they become ferocious. They misbehave with their parents. Even they
become terrorists. By kidnapping, hijacking or committing robbery they manage money to buy drugs. The result of
drugs is death.
As
it is a national problem Government should take a pragmatic step to control it.
Parents can play a vital role in this regard.
