Eve-teasing
is a burning question at the present situation.It is a great sin. It destroys
the chastity and morality of our mothers and sisters.It also destroys the peace
of society.
Last
month my relative named Anunna, is a student of Intermediate, some of her
younger neighbors often disturbed her. They disturbed her in different ways
such as- vulgar stare, sly whistle, wink and indecent exposure. But Anunna did
not care it.Last week when Anunna came out of her house to buy some medicine
for her grandfather some of her younger neighbors blocked her way and made
suggestive remarks. As a result, Anunna became angry and protested it. After
that, the youths became more aggressive and pulling off her scarf and slapping
her face. Anunna fell down on the ground. But Anunna could not tolerate it at
all. Returning home, she hanged herself. She found that suicide is the only way
which can help her to escape from this curse.
Police
chief says the culprits must be arrested. Education Minister says new law may
be introduced to protect our mother and sister. He also says parents can play a
vital role in this regard.
